Environment

Nan Sing is determined to be a socially and environmentally responsible corporate citizen. Our concern for the environment begins with our own operations and extends into our relationships with customers, suppliers and the wider community. We continue to take actions to minimise the negative impacts of our business, engage in activities that have a positive effect on the environment.

Environmental initiatives taken include: adopting energy efficient technologies in upgrading our extruders and installing energy-saving light bulbs and water-cooled ventilation system in our facilities; replacing majority of the solvent-based ink with water-based ink; and installing Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation (RCO) system to reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions.

We supported the concept of “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle” in managing waste and are committed to fully utilise our in-house recycling facilities in minimising the environmental impact of our manufacturing process.

We continually monitor our use of resources and encouraging the adoption of recycled plastic, bio-based plastic and biodegradable plastic if and when appropriate.
